Sixth Circle tattoo and piercing lounge was established in 2023 and we are proud to be based in the heart of Welwyn Garden City.
In our studio we have two resident artists, a junior artist, two full time piercers and a laser technician. We pride ourselves on our sterile, friendly and inviting environment.

All piercings are done on a walk in basis so there is no appointment needed. Anyone under the age of 18 will require parental consent, either in person or written. We still may have to call a parent or guardian to double check.
Tattoo and laser are appointment only but walk ins are welcome depending on availability.
We also offer gift vouchers for any amount, that can
be used for tattoos and piercings, available for
purchase in the studio.
Within our studio, we all specialise in different fields of expertise.
Mark is the owner and full time piercer here at Sixth Circle tattoo and piercing lounge.
Scott and Laura are artists, in which they specialise in very different styles.
Lia is the newest artist of the studio and is looking to gain more experience in realism.
Sarah is the laser technician in which she specialises in laser tattoo, semi permanent makeup removal and hair removal.
Meet The Team
Mark Mercer
Piercer and Owner
Mark has been piercing for 12 years and has an amazing reputation in Welwyn Garden City.
Mark does all piercings by walk ins so you are always welcome to have a spontaneous piercing.
Within the studio we only pierce with single use needles and titanium jewellery.
We do stock a range of jewellery for all sorts of piercings and we can order some other jewellery in, if you would prefer something else.
Mark has a piercing aftercare number which you can contact with any problems or enquires. Mark also offers aftercare advice and piercing consultations whenever you need help or advice.

Gemma Cutbill
Studio Apprentice/Piercer
Gemma started with us in 2023 and has become a valued part of the team. You will find her piercing alongside Mark or on reception, and when she gets a spare moment she practices tattooing and her drawing skills

Scott Stitcher
Resident Artist
Scott has been tattooing for 10 years is comfortable in all styles of tattooing, however, he specialises in Japanese, traditional and colour tattoos. Scott is also very well known for his tattoo and scar cover ups. Consultations are always welcomed to discuss ideas and designs. Scott loves doing custom traditional and Japanese designs.
Lia Rose
Artist
Lia is our newest artist and is multiskilled in a diverse range of styles including; Line work, mandala, floral, dot work and realism for which she has a passion for.
